Loksado Bamboo Raft

Day 01: BANJARMASIN ARRIVAL, PANDAK DAUN, LOKSADO
(LD)
Arrival at Banjarmasin
airport, short meeting service, transfer by
car/minibus to Pandak Daun as a stilt build village at swamp
forest, for sightseeing the unique activity of the buffaloes
farmers, as these water buffaloes swim in the swamp forest, in the late
afternoon we can enjoy the romantic sunset outlook over the
swamp water-land, before we continue to Loksado for overnight at lodge.
Day
02: LOKSADO, MERATUS
MOUNTAINS
RAINFOREST TREKKING (BLD)
Breakfast,
before we start our hike over the forest trails of the Meratus
Mountain, during the jungle trek we visit Dayak
villages, the trek trails lead us to primary and secondary rainforest,
over hills and passing waterfalls, we will cross hanging and suspended
bamboo bridges between the farmlands, over the rivers and cascades, to
meet the local Dayak tribe in their longhouses. In the afternoon, we
will continue our trek to return to Loksado lodge over a different
trail of rain forest. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and
overnight at Loksado lodge.
Day 03: LOKSADO, BAMBOO RAFTING, BANJARMASIN (BLD)
Early Monring we have
our breakfast at the Lodge, where a new adventure awaits, we will
cruise downstream the Amadit River by a handmade Bamboo raft, crossing
the beautiful landscape of tropical rain forest along the river bank to
end up at Muara Hariang, where the car will wait us for the drive to
Banjarmasin, Lunch en route, Dinner at Local Restaurant, Overnight at
Hotel Banjarmasin.
Day 04: FLOATING MARKET, BERAU, DERAWAN ISLAND (BLD)
Early in the morning,
we will visit the floating market of Banjarmasin
as being part of Kalimantan
’s river-life, here we can explore the unique culture of
Banjarese who trade commodities as fruit, and vegetables from boat to
boat. Afterwards we return to the hotel, check-out of the Hotel, and
transfer to Banjarmasin airport for flight to Berau. Upon arrival at
Tanjung Redep Berau airport, direct transfer
to harbor for boarding speedboat and cross the Sea to Derawan Island.
Check in at Lodge, afternoon possibility for snorkeling or Derawan
village sightseeing. Dinner at Local Restaurant.
Day 05
& 06: DERAWAN ARCHIPELAGO, SANGALAKI ISLAND, KAKABAN
ISLAND (BLD)
Early in the morning by fishermen's boat to Sangalaki Island which is
called the Capital of The Mantas Rays, many kinds of exotic fish could
be seen in this area like the Mantas, Napoleons, purple sea horses,
tunitates, dwarf scorpion fishes, and not to forget the Coral Sea
Garden which is still in tact. Continue to Kakaban
Island known of it's mangrove fringed lake inside
which is a bit above the sea level, the lake itself is about 17 meters
deep of brackish water with a green algae bottom, sea life diverse
from four types of jellyfish, snakes, orange purple and yellow
clams on the branches. The Dive points around the
islands as the barracuda Point has sharks, leopards fish, tunas,
snappers and offcourse large schools of barracudas, the Blue
Cave point is a cave of about 120 meters long with at the end a Blue
sea light, and is only for the experienced divers. From the Dive points
the Gorganian Forest view is amazing, return to Derawan Island, for
dinner and overnight

After
breakfast start our trip cross the sea by boat to Berau
