Day
01: ARRIVAL IN BANJARMASIN (D)
Upon arrival, meeting service, transfer to hotel in
Banjarmasin town, check in. Afternoon explore Banjarmasin
river life by a canal sightseeing through the city and when time allow
crossing the Barito River to Bakut Island, where we can find the
proboscis monkeys. Dinner at local restaurant and return to
hotel for overnight. Free at own leisure.
Day 02:
BANJARMASIN, CABAI, PAPAGARAN (BLD)
After breakfast, we will drive to Cabai village at the foot of
Meratus Mountain. from where we will start our jungle trek
over the trails in Meratus Mountain, crossing
longhouses, primary and secondary forest, villager shifting
cultivation, and rivers. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and
overnight at prepaired camp.
Day 03:
RAINFOREST TREKKING (BLD)
Breakfast at Jungle camp, Hike the forest trails to Kadayang
village crossing primary and secondary forest, rivers, hanging
and suspended bamboo bridges, hills, and shifting cultivation. Lunch
will be served en route, dinner and overnight at prepaired
forest camp.
Day 04:
RAINFOREST TREKKING (BLD)
After breakfast, trekking the jungle
trails to Haratai waterfall crossing secondary forest, rivers,
over the hanging bamboo bridges, through the
mountains, passing Dayak longhouses. Lunch will be
served en route, dinner and overnight at prepaired jungle camp.
Day 05:
RAINFOREST TREKKING (BLD)
Trekking to Kapayang village crossing secondary forest, rivers, hanging
bridge, cinnamon and rubber trees, hills, and longhouses. Lunch will be
served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent. Lunch will be
served en route, dinner and overnight on longhouse.
Day 06: KAPAYANG, BAMBOO RAFTING,
BANJARMASIN (BLD)
Trekking to Loksado for about 1,5 hour and directly get an adventure
trip of bamboo rafting crossing beautiful landscape of tropical
rainforest along the riverside meanwhile our coach will be waiting on
the downstream for driving to Banjarmasin, a stop will be made at
Cempaka village to explore traditional diamond digging and polishing
where people take material out of the ground then shake them on the pan
of wood for finding raw diamond, overnight on hotel in Banjarmasin.
Day 07:
FLOATING MARKET, DEPARTURE (D)
Early in the morning, we will leave to floating market for exploring
the unique culture of Banjarese who trade their commodities from boat
to boat, then return to hotel crossing Banjarmasin River while
sightseeing people activities on riverside, free at own leisure till
the proper time for transferring to airport for your next destination.
