Day 01: BALIKPAPAN, SANGATTA (-LD)
Upon arrival at Balikpapan airport, meeting service by your guide, and transfer of about seven hours overland to Sangatta During your drive passing hilly forest highlands and plantations, villages, and the Equator. Check in at Hotel, for dinner and overnight.
Day 02: SANGATTA, KUTAI NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to harbor to cruise by motor canoe upstream Sangatta River into the jungle of Kutai National Park Reserve. At arrival at the Morio Guesthouse Jungle Camp site, we will drop our stuff and start directly a jungle trek into the forest, looking for wildlife and Orangutans, which are completely wild. Afternoon return to camp station Lunch and rest, late afternoon another forest trek searching for wild and experience the beauty of the Rainforest flora and Fauna here. Dinner and overnight at Morio jungle camp. possibility to do a night trek.
Day 03: KUTAI RESERVE, DELTA SANGATTA RIVER, SANGATTA (BLD)
After Breakfast we can do another trek, before we catch the canoe to the mangrove forest at the Delta of the Sangatta River to spot Longnose Monkeys, Birds, Crocodiles and other wild in the Mangrove Forest. Return to Sangatta for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: SANGATTA, MIAU BARU (BLD)
Breakfast, free at leisure, transfer overland for about five hours passing hilly land plantations and forest land to Miau Baru Dayak Kayan village. The Dayak arts are extra ordinary and vibrant designs, the characteristic flowing geometrical used in portraying scenes of jungle life comes from Chinese and Vietnamese Dong Son influences. Woman with the Long Ears and tattoo 's can be found here as one of the last memorable Dayak Culture signs, in the rapidly changing Kalimantan development. overnight at Miau Baru Guesthouse
Day 05: MIAU BARU, BERAU (BL-)
Breakfast at guesthouse, possibility for sightseeing in the village or visit the artful grave site, before we continue for about 4 hours overland to Berau airport or harbor to connect to your next destination, Lunch en route.
